| I always knew this song from Harry Belafonte and we always loved to sing it. Alfred and me have been travelling around through the north of Germany in the end of the sixties singing and playing our guitars. We never had any microphone. We just stood on stage and we sang, sang, sang... And the people like it. Alfred had the better voice and played the guitar. I sang too and played guitar, mouth-organ, banjo sometimes and maybe some other instruments. |
